This signature model is from guitarist, songwriter and producer Nigel Hendroff. Not everyone gets their own Signature Penguin! His reputation precedes him, and it's a well-deserved accolade that Gretsch was proud to partner with Nigel on.
This Penguin’s single-cutaway chambered mahogany body with flame maple top provides tonal opulence and vibrancy with a punctuated attack. And with its BT65 Broad’Tron pickups you get a set of highly dexterous pickups that expands your sonic horizons.
This splendid instrument comes in an exquisite Amber Flame finish and is adorned with with a mother of pearl Big Block fingerboard inlays, nickel hardware, jeweled arrow knobs, Grover® Imperial™ tuners and banjo armrest, and is made complete with a tortoise-style pickguard, and matching headstocks. This Amber Flame finished instrument has a tortoise headstock logo inlay.
