At Truetone Music, we are proud to partner with some of the greatest manufacturers, builds and musicians out there.  We've had a lot of special collections here - and now we have one of our most special to introduce: the Pamelina H. Collection.
 
Pamelina H. is one of the most renowned guitar painters in the world.  Her legendary work has adorned many Fender Custom Shop instruments, as well as ones built by Gibson, Ibanez, Jackson, Gretsch and many others.  Her work is truly one of a kind, and we are proud to be working with Pamelina on this special project.  In 2011, she partnered with a number of the world's top builders to create a batch of guitars, each of which has a corresponding painting by her.   They have been held in her vault ever since, and now, more than a decade later, we are presenting them as the Pamelina H. Collection, exclusively here at Truetone Music.
 
One of the most striking guitars in the collection is the "California Republic", built by the legendary John Suhr and hand-painted by Pamelina H.  The two world renowned artists worked on several projects together at Fender's Custom Shop years ago, and have continued to work together through John's own company, Suhr Guitars. This guitar was their first independent collaboration built through Suhr's Custom Shop.  It's a tribute to their history together, as well as their home state of California - and is a truly unique collectible guitar.

To make it more special, the original artwork is included as part of the package.  Pamelina included it as part of the package, and had it framed.  Please view the photos and zoom in to see the details.  The painting itself is incredible, and paired with the guitar, this makes for quite the addition to any serious guitar/art collection.  Also included is a print and Certificate of Authenticity.

The guitar features an alder body painted by Pamelina.  It doesn't get more California than a variation on the state flag with a background of the California coastline and fields of poppies (the state flower). Pamelina felt it necessary that people in California, who are often thought of as lazy hippies, can also be aggressive.  The maple neck has a rosewood fretboard with a custom "California" inlay, which is a work of art within itself.  Other features include a Gotoh locking tremolo system, dual Suhr humbuckers, black hardware, and a pearl Surh logo inlay on the headstock.  
 
The guitar has never been used - it's been in Pamelina's vault since it was built, and is now on the market for the first time.  This isn't just an amazing instrument built by a legendary luthier; it's a work of art itself.  Pamelina's unique style lends itself to mediums such as this, and the end result is amazing.  There is only one of these out there, and it cannot be recreated.  The combining of mediums, the fusing of music & art, and adding the touch of collectibility makes this extremely special.
