Are you ready for an incredible Strat that blends the best of vintage-era specs with modern improvements.  The Made in Japan Hybrid II is a series that deserves to be called a "hybrid", due to incorporating almighty modern specs that do not choose the player or music genre, while maintaining the vintage looks. Made in Japan, which has many fans around the world, has realized a product that combines playability and instrument tone that fits any guitarist or bassist regardless of rhythm / lead.  This model has not been available for sale here in the U.S., only overseas.  So it's a nice score to find one here.

The satin finish neck gives you a blend of a Modern "C" neck shape with 9.5" radius neck with rosewood fingerboard with vintage-style narrow frets. You will love the feel of the neck and easy playability that it provides.  By the way, this is a 22 fret guitar, giving you the added flexibility when you need it.  The alder body on this one is resonant and light - the guitar comes in at just 7.3 lbs.  Also, it's a super cool color that we've only seen out of Fender Japan, which is called U.S. Blonde. 

The pickups are Fender's own design, called the Hybrid II Custom Voiced Single Coil Stratocaster set.  They are very well balanced, and provide the iconic, classic Strat sound with a bit of a modern edge, giving you more output.  Staggered pole pieces smooth out the sound quite well.  These are amazing sounding pickups that work well for both rhythm and lead playing.

The tone of this Stratocaster in the bridge position is bright and clear. Combining the bridge and middle pickups in the second position produces a funky "quacky" sound, perfectly executed by the custom voiced pickups. The middle pickup adds a touch of warmth to the overall sound. In the fourth position, this Hybrid II model delivers a distinctive out-of-phase sound that is commonly used for a delicate, hollow tone. In the fifth position, the neck pickup produces a deep, warm, and smooth sound. Overall, the unique custom pickups in this Stratocaster deliver exceptional sound quality in all positions.

This guitar is in excellent, like-new condition and comes with a gig bag. It has been setup by our techs and is ready to play!  It's a rare guitar here in the U.S., and likely to go fast.
