Vintage 1973 Fender Super Reverb Silverface Guitar Amp Combo

We just took in this classic Fender amp, a vintage Super Reverb from 1973.  It's stood the test of time and comes to us from legendary L.A. area amp guru Greg Leon.  It's in good condition (excellent for an amp rolling into it's 6th decade), and is all original.  This is one of the best sound Super Reverbs we've ever had here.

Super Reverbs are a favorite vintage Fender amp, delivering the usual glassy sparkle, but with a slightly beefier midrange, punchier, tighter low end and quicker response when compared to other amps in the silver-panel lineup. This example turns 50 next year and is in very good condition with minor tolex wear from age and has the original  quartet of 10″ CTS speakers. This amp has plenty of headroom for crystal clear clean tones, while still being able to achieve a nice, natural tube breakup at reasonable gigging volumes when pushed. A great sounding, versatile amp with a classic vintage Fender tone.

Everything works great, just as it should (of course - it came from the collection of a professional amp repairman!).  As mentioned, it's a all original (except for a new capacitor), with no mods.  This is a  4 x 10" speaker configuration, with the original CTS Alnico speakers and 5U4GB Rectifier.   The original footswitch is included, as is an aftermarket cover.  

For those that know the the amazing sound and versatility of a Super Reverb, this is a great choice, especially with the knowledge of it coming from Greg Leon.  It's a great score!
