Exclusive Fender Custom Shop Golden Rose Telecaster

As part of a close partnership with the Fender Custom Shop, Truetone Music cooked up an exclusive run of guitars, known as "Truetone Color Sets".  It's where we do a quartet of instruments - Strat, Tele, Jazzmaster and Jazz bass - all in the same color, as a matching set.  For the colors, we picked unique ones that are rarely ever seen.  In this case, it's Copper Metallic.

A custom creation from Truetone Music, the "Golden Rose" 59 Telecaster came straight from the Custom Shop to Club Fender here on the edge of the west coast.  Like the sun setting on the Pacific Ocean, the golden hue of the Copper Metallic finish is accented by the gold hardware and Anodized Gold pickguard, creating a Tele unlike any you've seen before.  It has the Journeyman Relic finish with specifically requested heavy checking.  A matching headstock caps it off, a nice touch we added to all of the Golden Rose guitars.

It's not just about the looks - this is an amazing feeling and sounding guitar.  Loaded with 56/57 Tele bridge and neck pickups, you get full clarity, combining Alnico 3 (neck) and Alnico 5 (bridge) magnets, with enough bite to cut through the mix.  We chose them for this guitar because they amongst our favorites, and feel that these are some of the Custom Shop's best and "truest" vintage sounding pickups.   We also went with the easy playing '59 Esquire "C" neck shape, and a modern radius/frets on the dark AAA rosewood fretboard.
