Because it has a solid top, it will sound even better as it ages. The mahogany neck is joined to the body with a glued-in tapered dovetail neck-to-body joint and features a Rounded C profile that ensures easy playability. The neck is capped with a bound rosewood fretboard, equipped with 20 standard frets, and adorned with the classic split parallelogram inlays that are a hallmark of the Dove design.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe other ends of the strings pass over a compensated plastic saddle and are anchored to the belly-up rosewood Dove bridge with ivory-colored bridge pins.
