Fender Custom Shop 1965 Strat Journeyman Closet Classic Charcoal Frost Metallic
Fender Custom Shop 1965 Closet Classic Strat Charcoal Frost Metallic
When Fender was sold to CBS in 1965, the most striking change to the instruments was the shift from the familiar spaghetti logo on the headstock, to a bolder, golder, version of Leo's last name.
This Custom Shop 1965 Stratocaster Closet Classic is a detailed recreation of a transition-era Strat both inside and out!
This Fender Custom Shop 1965 Stratocaster CC features a select 2-piece alder body, '65 oval C shape maple neck, mother of pearl dot markers, and a AAA round-laminated rosewood fretboard. A set of 21 frets, in 6105 fretwire make this a very player-friendly instrument. A great modern update is the compound radius fretboard of 9.5". From the wood selection to the slightly finish-checked nitrocellulose finish, this guitar is a gorgeous re-creation of the real deal.
A trio of '65 Custom Shop Strat single-coil pickups, with a reverse-wound middle pickup, complete the vintage trip back in time.
