This was a limited run that quickly became a cult favorite for its \"vintage-mod\" vibe and its deviation from the standard cherry or black SG finishes.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis SG has the original pickups - a pair of BurstBucker 1 pickups with nickel covers, which are some of the most accurate PAF-styled humbuckers available today. Made with genuine unpolished Alnico II magnets, and wound with 42-AWG enamel-coated wire just like the originals, these pickups employ unequal turns of wire in each coil for that characteristic PAF bite and edge.  They deliver a creamy, articulate growl that is perfect for the kind of layered textures Tweedy is known for, but they have more than enough bite for straight-ahead blues, classic rock, and pretty any style of playing. The control layout is the standard dual volume and dual tone with a 3-way toggle, utilizing high-quality pots to give you a smooth, musical sweep.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe hardware is what really sets this Jeff Tweedy signature apart, featuring a Maestro Lyre Vibrola tailpiece with a decorative engraved cover that provides a smooth, subtle vibrato and a classic 60s silhouette.
