Built by Eastwood Guitars as a tribute to the original ’50s Coronado and Martinique models, it delivers plenty of vintage character with the reliability and playability you want from a modern instrument.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe tone-chambered mahogany body features a distinctive German carve top and back, gloss white finish, and signature rubber body binding. Rather than the fragile Res-O-Glas construction found on the originals, the Airline uses mahogany for a warmer, more resonant feel with added sustain and durability.  The bolt-on maple neck features a bound rosewood fingerboard with pearloid block inlays, and a zero-fret design.   With a comfortable 25.5\" scale length and 1 11\/16\" nut width, it feels familiar and easy to play.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eUnder the hood, you get a pair of Alnico Hot-10 humbuckers, each with its own volume and tone control.  With that, you get plenty of flexibility from clean, woody textures to thick, punchy overdrive.
