{"product_id":"pre-owned-custom-modified-alessandra-fender-65-deluxe-reverb-head-matching-cab-fawn","title":"Pre-Owned Custom\/Modified Alessandro Fender '65 Deluxe Reverb Head \u0026 Matching Cab - Fawn","description":"\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cimg alt=\"Used And Vintage\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0789\/2433\/files\/vintage_and_used.png?v=1742598156\"\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cdiv style=\"text-align: left;\"\u003e\n\u003cp data-pm-slice=\"0 0 []\"\u003eHere's something you haven't seen before, because it hasn't existed before.  This is a Fender '65 Deluxe Reverb head (yes, head) modded by the legendary George Alessandro, and then put into a custom made shell, and paired with a custom made 2x12 cabinet.  This rig has quite the store behind it...\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBack in 2013, the Southern California Fender rep was visiting the headquarters office in Phoenix.  While walking through the R\u0026amp;D department, he spotted a '65 Deluxe Reverb head.  Knowing that it was something that was not officially being made, he inquired about it.  He was told they had finished testing it, and that he could take it to sell.  Being he an enthusiastic and motivated young salesperson, he jumped on it.  A week later he drove back to California with the head in his car - and straight to Truetone's Fender showroom is where it went.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA few days later, a long-time customer was in Truetone saw the head, and bought it on the spot, knowing it was something special.  He then had a it stripped down and completely rebuilt by legendary boutique amp builder George Alessandro.  He's famous for his work on Fender amps, where completely guts the interior to install a high-end, hand-wired circuit.  So what you get is this:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003ePoint-to-point construction:  built onto a custom military-spec epoxy\/glass laminate board using silver eutectic solder.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003ePremium componentry:  outfitted with CTS pots, Switchcraft jacks, PTFE\/Teflon-coated silver-plated wire, and premium carbon\/film resistors.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eCapacitor upgrades:  loaded with high-end German-made audio-grade or Orange Drop coupling and bypass capacitors for pristine clarity.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eCircuit wweaks:  Alessandro standard rebuilds modify the Normal channel into a punchier, mid-forward '68 style voice while maintaining the legendary \"Blackface\" scoop on the Vibrato channel.
