The bolt-on maple neck is topped with a gorgeous slab Rosewood fingerboard. This tonewood combination delivers that quintessential Fender snap that is punchy, clear, and rich with the woody resonance that offset lovers crave. The neck also features a Late-'50s \"C\" profile that offers a comfortably substantial grip without feeling bulky. For the vintage purists this model comes with a 7.25\" radius fingerboard and vintage-tall frets, giving you that distinct old-school feel that makes chording and expressive bends easy. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eAs mentioned, this particular Vintera II 50's Jazzmaster was given a nice upgrade at Fender, with a pair of Cunifie Wide Range pickups (worth over $400).  They deliver rich bell-like humbucking tone with full bass and clear treble. CuNiFe pickups have \"hi-fi\" clarity yet never lose their attack and definition no matter how hard they are pushed.
