Veillette Guitars are crafted by Joe Veillette, Ande Chase, and Jimmy Eppard in Woodstock, NY - a collective of players and performers with a shared vision of what instruments should accomplish. While they prize high-quality constructions, elite materials, and fine designs, these elements are secondary to the music-making goals they strive to meet. At Veillette Guitars, they create unique tools for musicians.

Here we a Swift Archtop 12-String Baritone, built to Slash's specs.  Yes, Slash designed  this version with Veillette and has been known to pull it out on stage, and has also used it in the studio.  The Swift electric is Veillette's interpretation of the classic electric guitar. Dual magnetic pickups and simple-yet-versatile controls let the player easily call up tones ranging from sweet to powerful.

The 26.125" scale, along with compensated zero-fret make for "True Twelve" intonation and amazing playability.   It has a  chambered poplar body and quilted maple top, so it's not too heavy, acoustically sounds rich, and translates well when plugged it.  The mahogany neck( ebony fretboard) mahogany neck is extremely comfortable, especially with the 1..9375" nut width.  The 14" radius helps make it easy to play.

The guitar is loaded with Seymour Duncan Vintage Rails humbuckers, which work perfectly on a 12 string baritone like this.  These are single coil sized humbuckers with a unique split-blade design that is meant to be wired in parallel to give you a sparkly, vintage style single coil tone without the hum.  In the bridge position, this pickup will be tight and crisp, and will give you lots of vintage snap. For added versatility, its 4-conductor lead-wire gives you the option of switching it into series wiring (using a push/pull or mini-toggle) for hotter, fatter humbucker tone.  In the neck position, this pickup is great for all types of articulate rhythm playing. The vintage output wind keeps even the most clustered chords expressive and spanky.

You get master volume and tone controls, and a 3 way switch, helping pave the way for a wide variety of sounds.

This is a USA hand made instrument was crafted by Veillette in their small workshop in Woodstock, NY, and represents the finest of boutique guitar building.  As expected, it plays absolutely incredibly and sounds amazing.  Crystal clear tone, a perfectly scuplted neck, and like nothing else out there.....this is a truly remarkable, unique and outstanding piece!
