Taylor Custom Grand Pacific C17e Pearl White Catch Event # 5

At this year's NAMM show in Anaheim, Taylor put on an unforgettable dealer event on the rooftop of a hotel, showing a set of extremely limited and special guitars, known as the Catch Event.  Here, dozens of one-of-a-kind Taylor guitars were displayed.  We had the opportunity to participate and were fortunate to score a few guitars - this is one of them.

Here are at Truetone Music, we are proud to be a part of this, and now proudly present this Taylor Custom Grand Pacific.  It's quite the special build, and a unique offering.  We'll pause now while you check out the photos.

With its striking Pearl White finish and powerful, seasoned sound, this custom Grand Pacific delivers a high-impact visual and sonic experience.  Back and sides of solid, hand-selected mahogany yield a warm, punchy midrange response, while a torrefied Sitka spruce top adds projection and aged-in warmth, creating a blended, seasoned tone with clear low-end power. V-Class interior bracing delivers more volume, longer sustain and greater harmonic agreement between notes.

Thanks to an array of high-contrast visual details, including mother-of-pearl Progressive Diamond inlays, a mother-of-pearl/ebony Nations rosette, ebony binding and black/white edge trim, this custom model is sure to command attention.

Premium Gotoh 510 antique chrome tuning machines with black buttons offer ultra-precise tuning while the onboard ES2 electronics let you to dial in your plugged-in tone with ease. It ships with a Western Floral deluxe hardshell case.

This is not a guitar that you'll see everyday, and it's definitely not a guitar easily missed - it will stand out on any stage or wall.  We love all of the exotic woods and natural finishes, but at times a different direction is the way to go, and that's the way we went with this.
