For those that prefer the finer things in life, we present a very special package: Taylor Limited Edition Custom Grand Concert C22e with Circa74 AV150-10 Amp.  Taylor is well known for crafting some of the nicest acoustic guitars out there, but have never been known for amplification.  That's about to change.  To kick it off, this extremely limited set was offered as a package, and we knew we had to have it.  Only 15 sets were made, and we were thrilled to get one.  Unveiled at Taylors "Custom Catch" event preceding the 2023 NAMM show, this matching guitar and amp combo is truly special.

The Circa '74 AV150-10 amplifier is a fusion of vintage-inspired craftsmanship and modern acoustic amplification technology.   Designed by Bob Taylor and a handpicked team, this new two-channel acoustic/vocal amp combines warm sound,
simple controls and elegant woodworking craftsmanship.   Working on the project reminded Bob of the creative, freewheeling spirit of a startup, like the earliest days of Taylor Guitars, circa ’74 — which gave birth to the name.

With a powerful 150-watt output, this amplifier provides ample headroom for pristine sound reproduction, making it suitable for both intimate gigs and larger performances. The custom Grand Concert C22e is expertly crafted to offer the perfect balance between comfort and projection. Its beautiful Shaded Edgeburst color highlights its exceptional sound quality and is complemented by a Walnut top and Indian Rosewood back and sides, creating a warm, clear, and dynamic tone. The V-Class Bracing system enhances the guitar's resonance, ensuring each note is articulated and well-defined. Adding to its elegant appearance are the Faux Pearl Single Ring rosette and Grained Ivoroid body binding, as well as the intricate Faux Pearl / Grained Ivoroid Sea Forest Vine inlays on the West African Crelicam Ebony fretboard.  

Expertly crafted from Neo-tropical Mahogany, the neck boasts a Standard Carve profile that guarantees a comfortable and inviting grip. With a 1-3/4" nut width and 24-7/8" scale length, this guitar offers a seamless playing experience suitable for a variety of styles. MORE ABOUT THE AMP:

The Circa 74 amp was designed to dial down the high-end harshness found in many acoustic amps and produce a warm, analog musical character. The sound is smooth, yet without sacrificing articulation. One important material choice was to
build a wood cabinet for the amp — choose from mahogany or ebony/mahogany — leveraging Taylor’s tonewood voicing expertise to contribute to the amp’s smooth sound palette and room-filling sound. Two channels, compatible with all major pickups and vocal mics, 150 watts through a 10" speaker, 3-band EQ and reverb, additional inputs/outputs, and Bluetooth connectivity.  This amp has it all.
