CTF 1959 AGED

Handmade in Japan by top of the line luthiers, Creek Guitars brings a new level of quality that is hard to compete with.  We recently came on board as a dealer and received this guitar - we believe that it's the first here in the U.S.  Creek Guitars in general are very hard to come by, and this is quite possibly the first of this model to be available for sale here.

The "CTF 1959 AGED" by Creek Guitars reproduces vintage texture in 50's style.  Starting with the bracing using torified material, Creek paid close attention to the details of the material, and have reproduced a response unique to vintage guitars, with a lightness and comfort that you'll feel when you hold it in your hand.

While following the specs of the original PAF pickups, it is equipped with a newly designed pickup that has been tuned to match the sound of the original.  Plugged in, this guitar simply amazing.

This is a model that embodies the concept of the "Time Machine Series", with Creek creating a guitar that allows you to enjoy vintage textures in brand new condition, but aged.

Body

Following the Mickey Mouse horn shape of yesteryear, it has the center block of the 50's style, without the rear pickup cavity 1st string side release.  You get a .aminated maple body with torified material for bracing, and the result is a guitar that is extremely resonant.  On the body you'll find a brass saddle ABR-1 type bridge, aluminum tail piece, long studs, long pickguard, top hat knob, etc., adopting discerning hardware reminiscent of those days.

Neck / Headstock

Reproducing the neck shape with a moderate thickness, but not too thick, that is reminiscent of the mid-1959, the CTF 1959 Aged is a joy to play.  The smooth rolled edge finish and aging process provide a snug fit.  Precious Jacaranda is used for the fingerboard, and it has been finished perfectly.  It also features a unique soft tension and a clear rise due to the shallow neck angle that pursues a vintage sound.  The headstock uses a single line/single ring machine head tuners.

Electronics

The guitar is loaded with newly designed original pickups called "Creek Custom Hand Wound Vintage PAF Style Humbucker" that has been tuned to match the sound of the originals, with perfect balance.  They provide a natural sound that respects the tone of the guitar, reproducting the nuances of the player without leaving anything behind.  These pickups excel at creating a sound that is as clear as it is clear, yet quickly rises and has a thick core.  The guitar uses CTS pots, Switchcraft toggle switches and jacks.
The wiring material uses mesh shield wire, and the capacitor uses Bumblebee Replica.
