Pre Owned 1993 Gallagher '72 Special Acoustic Guitar with Case

The Gallagher 72 Special is a fantastic handmade guitar from Gallagher, a premier boutique acoustic maker.  It was crafted in the great state of Tennessee, and this particular one stems from 1993, a great year indeed.  After all, it's when the first webcam was introduced, Jurassic Park hit the theaters, and Radiohead released their debut album.  But lest we digress too much, back to this amazing guitar....

Don Gallagher is known for creating amazing acoustics, and this is a superb example in classic Rosewood and Spruce.  The 72 Special is a dreadnought cutaway guitar, in the style of a D-28.  It features a more ornate abalone inlay accenting the Spruce top with snowflake inlays on its Ebony fretboard. This guitar is what they mean when they say "cannon".  It's powerful and extremely responsive.  While it projects strongly, it's not overly bass heavy or muddy - it's very balanced, and has excellent articulation from string to string.  

Other features include a Brazilian Rosewood headplate, gold Schaller tuners, and an Ebony bridge.  A nice hardshell tweed case is included.

This instrument is in very good condition with no dings, dents or other flaws.  It's been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop.  For those that know, a Gallagher is a special guitar - and for those that don't know, this is the way to find out!  Every time we get a Gallagher in, it goes fast, and we expect this one to as well.
