Pre Owned 2011 Grestch Power Jet G6128-TVP Upgraded Black with OHSC

Feel the sonic thrust of this Gretsch G6128-TVP Power Jet!  This is a uniquely upgraded one that we just took in, and absolutely love what it has going on - which is a lot.

Jet's are Gretsch's solidbody line that features a compact single-cut contoured body that is primed for clean and gain tones alike. The body is a mahogany body with a crisp maple top, an excellent wood combination that gives you great tone and sustain and this one is finished with a black top.

Normally Power Jet's have a set of Powertrons pickups but this one has been upgraded with TVJ Classic and TV Classic + pickups. These pickups are punchy and thick humbuckers with a vintage lean for warmer tones. There is an added tonal control of a TV Jones bleed circuit installed on the Master Volume control. The tuners have also been upgraded with Schallers for increased tuning stability. The Gretsch G-cutout tailpiece has also been replaced with a USA Gretsch label Bigsby (B3C) including a Callahan upgrade to the string mounting, for increased sustain and tuning stability.

Originally built in 2011, the mods make an already great guitar even better.  Any Gretsch crafted in Japan like this one is a fine instrument.  This is a powerful guitar not to be missed. It is in great condition and comes with its original hardshell case.  The techs in our shop have set it up to play perfectly, and it's ready to go!
