Spector is a legendary bass builder and the NS-2 is their most iconic model. This was the bass that first made its debut in the '70s to became a bass staple for many bass players. 

What we have here is a truly special bass - the spalted maple top that Spector found for this bass is stunning - the wood grain really stands out.  Zoom in on the photos and you'll see what we're talking about.

This Spector NS-2 comes with a deep double-cutaway body maded of reclaimed redwood, a spalted maple top and neck thru body construction. The NS-2 is comfortable and resonant with excellent sustain, and features a gorgeous Super Faded Black transparent finish on the body. The 3-piece maple neck comes with a birdseye maple fingerboard, with 24 frets and abalone inlays.  It's easy to play, with a comfortable slim profile with a 1.67" nut width.

You can really tap into the low end with this NS-2 thanks to its EMG PX/SJX pickup set and Spector HAZ 9V preamp. The PX in the neck gives you thick P-Bass style tones while the SJX in the bridge is a fantastic inline single coil for articulate Jazz Bass style tones. You have a master volue, blend, bass and treble controls for maximum tonal configuration.

You're locked in with Spector lighweight aluminum bridge and solid big key tuners.  Spector used high quality hardware for this bass, and it's deserving of that.  We're looking at a pro-level instrument here that will meet the demands of serious players.

This NS-2 is in excellent condition overall, with just a slight a scratch on the body (see photos).  It and comes with the hardshell case and certificate of authenticity.  The techs in our shop have set it up to play perfectly. This is the real deal.
