Pre Owned 2024 Rickenbacker 620 Maple Glo With OHSC
The legendary Rickenbacker 620, here in top notch form - we just took this previously owned one in, which was just made last year and barely played, so it's super clean. It's a classic model but we don't see many of these coming in, especially not as nice as this one.
The Model 620 showcases the iconic ‘Cresting Wave’ Maple cutaway body, inspired by a groundbreaking 1950s design. Its Rosewood fingerboard is elegantly detailed with triangular pearloid inlays, complemented by a solid maple neck and double-bound body. Engineered to meet the precise standards of the 300 series, the 620 features Rickenbacker’s signature high-gain pickups and stereo output. Faithful to the original specifications, this model exemplifies Rickenbacker’s exceptional craftsmanship and tonal balance.
It's predominantly constructed from premium maple, selected for its density which enhances sustain and delivers crisp, clear high-end tones. This wood’s inherent stability also helps preserve the neck’s structural integrity. The rosewood fretboard introduces warmth and harmonic depth, complementing the guitar’s naturally bright sound.
Speaking of sound, you'll find a pair of Hi-gain single-coil pickups that maintain the characteristic tone of traditional single-coils while offering a sharper attack, highlighting the classic jangle heard in countless songs over the years. Its 5-knob control configuration allows precise blending of the pickups to achieve your preferred tonal balance.
There are two output jacks: The first is a standard mono output. The second is a stereo Rick-O-Sound output, which outputs both pickups as a seperate signal. Live, it gives you the opportunity to go to two different amps. This option is also great for studio performers. By sending one signal to two sources, you can get an instant stereo track with only one performance.
This Rickenbacker 620 Maple Glo is in excellent condition and has been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop. The original hardshell case is included. It's a stunning guitar and ready to go!
