b3 Acid Bunny with Painting - Pamelina H Collection

Pamelina H. is one of the most renowned guitar painters in the world.  Her legendary work has adorned many Fender Custom Shop instruments, as well as ones built by Gibson, Ibanez, Jackson, Gretsch and many others.  Her work is truly one of a kind, and we are proud to be working with Pamelina on this special project.  In 2011, she partnered with a number of the world's top builders to create a batch of guitars, each of which has a corresponding painting by her.   They have been held in her vault ever since, and now, more than a decade later, we are presenting them as the Pamelina H. Collection, exclusively here at Truetone Music.

One of the most unique in the collection is the b3 Acid Bunny, built by Gene Baker and hand-painted by Pamelina H.  Having previously worked together since his days at the Fender Custom Shop, their history goes way back.  This guitar was the first collaboration between them for his line of b3 guitars, and it's the most tripped out of any in this special collection.

Gene Baker started his long career apprenticing under the legendary Roger Giffin (head of the Gibson Custom Shop) before moving to the Fender Custom Shop in 1993.  He quickly rose to the level of Senior Master Builder.  Over the years, he also partnered with Ernie Ball, D'Angelico and more, but over the last 20 years, his own brand, b3, has become legendary in its own right.   All of Baker's guitars are precision instruments for serious musicians and embody the unique expertise and passion of a man widely considered to be amongst one of the most talented in the boutique guitar world.  You will recognize elements of the most iconic guitars, redesigned, and crafted by one of the best.

Warner Bros. Studios is a California icon and where the Looney Tunes were born. Pamelina painted several artworks for them, and this artwork matches one commissioned by Warner Bros.  However this isn't a normal Looney Tunes inspired work of art.  This one seems to come from another dimension, or alternate reality - one where Bugs Bunny's world is a bit more psychedelic.

This isn't just an amazing instrument built by a legendary luthier; it's a work of art itself.  Pamelina's unique style lends itself to mediums such as this, and the end result is an amazing one of a kind guitar.  To make it more special, the original artwork is included as part of the package.  The painting itself is incredible, and paired with the guitar, this makes for quite the addition to any serious guitar/art collection.  Also included is a print and Certificate of Authenticity.

There is only one of these out there, and it cannot be recreated.  The combining of mediums, the fusing of music & art, and adding the touch of collectibility makes this extremely special.
