 Truetone Music is proud to be partnered with the legendary musician Colin Hay in offering instruments out of his collection. Each comes with a signed certificate verifying the authenticity, assuring that it has been used on tour, in studio or personally by him. During his years with Men At Work, Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band, and his own solo career, various instruments were used.  Very few have become available, until now.  

For those that want to own a world-renowned boutique amp with 120-watts of power, we present the Blankenship Twinplex Head with a 2x12" Cabinet.  This is a custom made head that has a Fender Twin preamp matched with a Marshall Plexi power amp. It's completely unique, as it's the only one out there.  

The Fender Twin has been a backline favorite for decades, prized for its power and brilliant clean tone. This Blankenship rig gives you that tone, and more, since its matched with the power amp. What you get is full fat clean tones with great mid-range presence. You have two volumes, Bright and Normal, which combined with the 3-band EQ knobs gives you plenty of option to find your sweet tone. The cabinet is handcrafted in the USA by Mojo Tone and is loaded with two Celestion 75-watt G12H speakers. These speakers give you plenty of headroom to maintain the fullness of the clean tones without being tubby in the low end.

 This amp is in excellent condition.  It's been tested to perfect working order - and of course sounds amazing!  It's not something you'd see anywhere else, as it's the only one exactly like it, and of course the only one previously owned by Colin Hay, complete with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.  As an added bonus, it comes with an autographed LP.  This is the complete package.
