Used And Vintage Amps

Here's a bass rig that you won't see every day, often....or ever.  It's an Eich T900 Classic head with a matching 212S cab, in White.  Straight out of Germany, Eich amps have become the go to choice for artists such as Gary Grainger, Nicole Row, Luca Sciandrone, Mike Hill and many others.  There's a reason they've taken Eich rigs out on tours - they're dependable, high quality, simple to use and sound amazing.

This particular T900 Classic rig came from one such artist, and we were all seriously impressed when it came in.  Powerful, well-balanced, and versatile, it's a setup that would make any bass player happy.  It's in very good condition (see photos), and has been vetted and tested to perfect working order.  Full details and specs are below.

These are hard to find, especially here in the U.S.  As far as we can tell, it's the only White one out there.  So, if you're a bass player looking for a pro level rig that's still affordable, this is the score right here!

ABOUT THE HEAD:

The ultra-compact T-series amps stand out by their power, punch and drive. You will experience every nuance of your playing in a totally new and distinct way – completely unaltered but with lots of punch, just the way you like it. The well-balanced four-band tone control suits all musical styles with a perfect sound. The “TASTE” control allows you to emphasize the tonal characteristics of your instrument – everything between a wiry mid-boost, a bold slap and an ultra-fat Reggae or Motown sound.

Jacks for FX loop, Tuner Out, Line Out, Line In and a transformer balanced pre/post switchable DI Out with ground lift lets you connect the T-series to the outside world. T-series amps are ideal for travelling around the world thanks to their voltage switch that allows operation at 230 or 115 volts 50 – 60 Hz. Two ultra-quiet, digitally controlled fans and the tuned airflow channel in the T900 Classic keeps the amp cool even at full power.

A great new feature for late night rehearsal is the aux-in jack, where you can connect devices such as your mobile phone, a tablet or other to jam along to your favorite tunes listening with your headphones. You don‘t even have to connect a cabinet. It‘s never been easier.  Made in Germany.

All Eich amps can be used without using a cabinet. When there isn’t a cabinet connected you can use your amp to rehearse and use the Phone out connection. This is safe and will not harm your power amp.

ABOUT THE CAB:

The S-series cabinets provide solid fundamentals and superior dynamic “aliveness” even in the most cramped clubs. The slim design cabinet is ideally suited for placement of a small head on top. These ultra compact cabinets with 2 x 12" speakers deliver impressively deep bass and amazing sound pressure levels. The weight is an astonishingly light 48.5 lbs.

Due to the small dimensions of the cabinets the housings are specially calibrated so that the high-power speakers guarantee faithful reproduction of all nuances. By using a voicecoil with windings on the inside and outside of the coil, it results in a 40% higher continuous power of the loudspeaker. Even at their highest output level they provide distortion-free, clean, and ultra dynamic sound reproduction at sound pressure levels far exceeding that of club applications.  The special 1” NT1 horn tweeter in combination with our “Tweeter Switching System” allows both aggressive rock, or soft funk and fusion settings in six stages. This makes our cabinets ideal for all genres, playing styles, and sonic preferences.  With power handling capability of 600 watts RMS, the 212S is an ultra-reliable working tool with the highest sound quality and “real” value... it’s also extremely fun to play through!

From the instrument cable strain relief located in the left side handle to the “Ampfixing” bracket which provides secure positioning for all EICH amplifiers, this cabinet is long on quality and innovative features.  For optimum damping of unwanted resonances our housings are made with support bracings and dampened with acoustic foam. Made in Germany.

ABOUT EICH:
Thomas Eich built his first loudspeakers for customer orders at the tender age of 13. This laid the basis for his successful owner-managed company. As a bassist with heart and soul himself, Thomas set out to search for the perfect tone and began to turn his own thoughts to audio transmission. No sooner said than done: without further ado he simply made his loudspeakers himself. Only a short while later, he started producing amplifiers.

The constant search for and implementation of new ideas quickly earned him and his products due respect. Within a few years his brand recognition grew to also include international terrain. Thomas has exhibited at the Frankfurt Musikmesse since 1986 and he has also been an exhibiter at the NAMM Show in Los Angeles since 1992. In 2011 he received a NAMM Association Milestone Award as the youngest company owner to celebrate their company's 25 year anniversary.

His passion for music has again and again led him to achieve his highest goal: to authentically and perfectly put the bass in the limelight in all its facets.
