Have you ever wanted an electric 12-string from Fender? Here we have a Fender Electric XII, made as part of the Alternate Reality limited run series, in the classic finish of Lake Placid Blue. It was a one-year run and not many were made, so there aren't many out there. In fact, we don't see any out there in this color right now.
The Electric XII has a long history. This model was first released in 1965 was designed to bring you authentic Fender tone in 12-string form. You get distinct chimey, bell-like tones this guitar, which is exactly what you want.
The Electric XII features specially designed split-coil pickups and a 3-position switch, allowing you to activate a single pickup or both simultaneously. The adjustable hardtail bridge has 12 individual saddles for precise intonation, crucial for handling twice the standard number of strings. The maple "Modern C"-shaped neck is versatile for various playing styles and has a comfortable 9.5"-radius fingerboard with 21 medium-jumbo frets, topped with a unique '65 12-string headstock design.
This is truly a unique instrument with a sound and look all its own.
