We just took this one in from one our favorite sources, a regular client that quite often will get a new guitar from us, only play it a few times, and then bring it back for us to sell again.  They're always super clean.  This one is a great example - it was brand new guitar here just a few months ago.  He had us install an LR Baggs VTC pickup/preamp system, so this is now an acoustic-electric guitar.  

The D-42 Modern Deluxe offers a contemporary interpretation of the classic Martin Vintage. This guitar combines unique custom elements with cutting-edge technology that must be experienced firsthand. Its spruce Vintage Tone System top, dovetail neck joint, and natural protein glue produce the hallmark rich, matured Martin sound. Designed for comfort, it features a Vintage Deluxe neck profile. The East Indian Rosewood back and sides contribute a lush, harmonically complex tone, while the spruce top ensures strong projection and clarity. Adirondack spruce forward-shifted X-bracing enhances the balance and power of this superb acoustic instrument.

Featuring elegant European flamed maple binding and premium gold hardware—covering frets and open-gear tuners—this guitar exudes sophisticated style. Upgraded with Liquidmetal bridge pins and a carbon fiber bridge plate, it delivers improved volume and sustain. The original hardshell case is included and the guitar is in excllent condition.  Considering it's a essentially new and is upgraded with the LR Baggs system for amplification, this ia great deal.  The techs in our shop have setup the guitar to play perfectly.  This is truly a great find.
