Now for something you haven't seen....because it hasn't existed before this.  It's a bird, it's a plane, it's a baritone, it's a partscaster.  In the end, it's a sweet instrument that brings something new to the table, because it's the sum of all of it's parts, expertly assembled and setup to play perfectly.

Done in house here at Truetone, this guitar was born on a bench in our shop.  Conceived to provide new textures and sounds, it's now a living being as a Sub-Sonic Cabronita Telecaster Thinline Baritone.  Yes, that's a mouthful.  Just wait till you hear it.  Fender guitars have always been modular instruments, lending themselves to creations like this.

It starts with a genuine Fender Sub-Sonic Baritone Telecaster neck.  We got this from Fender in 2020 with the intent to use on a creative project - and this is where it went.  Crafted at the Ensenada facility, this neck converts a standard guitar into a 27" scale length baritone.  It features a comfortable "modern C" profile and 9.5"-radius maple fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets.  A gloss urethane finish on the back offers smooth playability.  It's super comfortable to play.

That's paired with a Squier Cabronita Telecaster Thinline body.  This model was released a few years ago as part of the Paranormal series, a set of guitars created to evoke the thought of "things that never were but could have been".   Featuring dual Jazzmaster and Cabronita Tele styling, this semi-hollow model provides versatile tones perfect for a variety of music.

For the pickups, this guitar is loaded with the Fender Cunife/Cobalt Chrome Jazzmaster set.  They deliver the distinction of Cobalt Chrome and the warm articulation of CuNiFe.  Voiced by tone guru, Tim Shaw, Cobalt Chrome and CuNiFe is the perfect magnetic combination to unlock your full tonal potential. You get adjustable pole pieces for custom balanced output, enamel-coated magnet wire for warm vintage-style tones and wax potting the reduce noise.  The Cobalt Chrome bridge pickup and CuNiFe neck pickup bring a balanced voice and added dynamic range to this classic Fender design.

Black covers match the pickguard help add a nice contrast against the white body.  The black switch tip is a nice touch. Additionally, the guitar has been outfitted with Fender locking tuners.

The guitar is in excellent condition and has been setup to play perfectly.  This one comes equipped with La Bella 20-PB baritone flatwound strings, offering a smooth feel that reduces finger noise and squealing. Featuring a high magnetic content, these Jazz Flats deliver enhanced electronic output, producing a bright tone with exceptional durability for extended playability.

That's a lot of words about this guitar but hey, there was a lot to say!  And if you're looking at this, you want to know.  And now you know.  The only thing left is to decide if you want it - and if you got this far, there's a good chance that you do.  It's the only one in existence, and once it's gone, it's gone for good.
