Fender Limited Editon 30th Anniversary Blues Junior IV Black Western Guitar Amp Combo

For over 30 years Fender Blues Juniors have been the go-to amplifier on stages around the world, by players from all styles of music.  Dependable, consistent, portable and affordable, this is one of the best-selling tube amps in history for good reason. 

The Blues Junior 30th Anniversary amplifier celebrates the legacy of this iconic workhorse with a Limited-Edition version of this 15-watt favorite that looks as incredible as it sounds.  Fender went all out on this one, to take it to another level beyond a standard model. 

Visually, it's super cool, with a commemorative Black Western covering and vintage Bassman grille cloth.  They also went a bit old school (in terms of how Blues Juniors originally looked), with a chrome control panel with black chicken head knobs.  Also, to add a touch of a vintage vibe and to match the Black Western style, the amp has a leather handle.

It's not just that - this special run amp was given an upgraded speaker as well.  So it not only looks better, but also sounds better.  After all, tone is what it's all about.  This Blues Junior has a Celestion G12M-65 Creamback speaker for warm cleans and midrange growl when cranked. Developed in the mid-sixties, the G12M it was quickly adopted by players like Hendrix, Clapton, Beck and Page who typified the louder and more aggressive blues rock playing styles that came to characterize that era.  The G12M-65 Creamback produces the familiar woody G12M tone but handles greater power, making it ideally suited for today’s amps when a vintage tone is desired. The increased power handling brings with it additional low end grunt complementing the warm and vocal mid range crunchy upper- mids and sweet refined highs.

Additionally, over the years the Blues Junior evolved.  This amp has the dodified preamp circuitry for increased fullness, as well has a redesigned spring reverb modified for smoothness.
