It's perfect for either a collector or player as it is a great instrument.
Truly this is a legendary guitar with its iconic '62-style contoured double-cut alder body with the perfect vintage-style Sunburst finish. It's worth noting that this guitar has a nitrocellulose lacquer finish. There is the bolt-on neck with vintage-tint gloss finish with rosewood fingerboard that has a vintage radius and medium jumbo frets. It comes with a special perloid dot inlays with a "1997" inlay at the 12th fret. You also get a special gold Fender Collector's Edition neck plate, showing its issue number 1661 of 1997. There are a tortoise-style pickguard and back plate. If you love gold hardware this is a great Strat to get. It has gold vintage-style tuners, bridge, and jack plate.
You're flushed with great tones created by three Texas Special single-coil pickups with staggered pole pieces in this Collector's Strat. These pickups have been hot-rodded to give you big, spanky tones with plenty of chime. They're perfect for clean but really push harder for dirtier tones. The middle pickup is reverse would reverse polarity, to reduce hum in positions 2 and 4. A 5-way selector switch is there to get you a variety of tones.
The guitar is in excellent condition with barely any player wear, and has been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop. It comes with its original hardshell case. You've found a winner right here!
