Pre Owned 2004 DiPinto Galaxie IV Los Straitjackets Silver Sparkle (Made in Korea) with Gig Bag

Here we have something special: a first run DiPinto Galaxie IV.  Made in Korea, this is the one that fans clamor for.  No offense to the more recent versions made in China, but this is the higher quality build.  We just took it in and are falling in love with how sweet it is.

Of course you'll notice the unique body shape and vibrant Silver Sparkle finish.  That's even before you see what the guitar is loaded with!  4 pickups, 4 switches and 2 knobs - more on that in a moment.  The guitar has a mahogany body (no longer offered on the current model), maple neck and rosewood fretboard.  It's a 25.5" scale length, with 22 frets.  The neck profile is a comfortable C shape; not too chunky but also not too thin.  In hand, it feels excellent and is easy to play.  That's topped with a yellow moto headstock, to match the pickguard, thus adding even more uniqueness to the coolness.

This Galaxie IV has all of the original pickups, electronics and hardware.  You're getting 4 single coils, with on/off switches for each, so you can come up with a variety of unique sounds.  There's also a master volume and master tone.  Sure, this guitar begs for some surf rock, but it could be used for other styles as well.  

It's equipped with a tune-o-matic bridge and floating tremolo tailpiece.  The techs in our shop have setup the guitar to play perfectly, and it's ready to go.

This DiPinto Galaxie IV has lived a good life since it was built just over 20 years ago - well taken care, in excellent shape with just a bit of normal player wear, and ready for another 20 years.  A gig bag is included.
