Pre Owned 04 Fender 50th Anniversary American Deluxe Strat Modified With OHSC

Produced for the 50th anniversary of the birth of the original Stratocaster in 1954, the 50th Anniversary American Deluxe Stratocaster featured the pinnacle of modern guitar innovation, including three Samarium Cobalt Noiseless™ (SCN) Strat pickups, modern "C" neck shape, 2-point synchronized tremolo with a pop-in arm, staggered locking tuning machines, and a commemorative 50th anniversary hardshell case.

This instrument is from the personal collection of the late Brad Pie who played guitar in the 1990’s with the great Johnny Otis.  Along with Johnny’s sons - Shuggie Otis (Guitar) and Nicky Otis (Drums) - Brad contributed guitar to the 1992 Grammy-Nominated “Spirits of the Black Territory Bands” by the Johnny Otis & His Orchestra group.  Many of the instruments from Brad’s collection are uniquely modified and come with various customized accessories. This particular instrument comes with the following:

The guitar has been slightly modified with aftermarket parts, mainly with a custom pickguard, knobs and bullet switch tip. The original hardshell case is included.  Inside of it you'll find a strap, cable, plus the original pickguard and knobs.

This 50th Anniversary edition of the Stratocaster was built in 2004, is in excellent condition and has stood the test of time for 30 years now.  It's ready for the next 30.  The guitar has been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop.
