Pre Owned 2004 Fender Made in Japan 1962 Reissue Jazz Bass 3-Tone Sunburst With Case

Back in 2004, which wasn't all that long ago, the world was advancing fast, but a lot of people want to go back to even simpler times.  Musicians are no different (probably even more old school minded), and especially bass players.  Hence, this 1962 Reissue Jazz bass that Fender put out in 2004.

Crafted in Japan, this great vintage flavored bass brings the best of old school sensibility with the high build standards that players know the MIJ stuff has.  The body is very resonant and brings a powerful punch.  It has a period correct, sturdy maple neck (U profile), with a 7.25" radius rosewood freboard.  Tone-wise, you get USA vintage-styled pickups that bring the classic Jazz bass sound that works so well for so many types of music.  

The color is a beautifully vibrant 3-Tone Sunburst, accented with a tortoiseshell pickguard.  The bass comes complete with the bridge and pickup covers installed for the complete vintage vibe.

What's kind of crazy about this bass is how clean it is - from what we can tell, it was never really played.  The condition is excellent, and now that our techs have set it up to play perfectly, we see that this bass is going to be a dream come true for someone.  The tweed hardshell case is included. 

So, it's a Japanese bass with American pickups, made to perfectlon, and tip-top shape, and ready to go.  We don't see this sitting here for long!
