Pre Owned 2009 Rob Allen Single Cutaway Amber Electric Guitar With OHSC

Here we have something unique that you won't see very often at all: a one-off custom built Rob Allen guitar.  For those that don't know, Allen has been a premier boutique builder here in California since 1997.  More known for his basses, he also made a small number of guitars - making this one a bit of a rare bird.

This a Rob Allen six string guitar originally built for a good friend of his (who hand selected the top) and, thus is a one-off, so it really does not have an “actual” model name. Although this instrument was made in Allen's Gardena, CA workshop, the pickups were wound in the Seymour Duncan factory in Santa Barbara by Rob himself - the same city where the first Rob Allen factory started in the early 2000’s.

This guitar features a gorgeous Flame maple top, Mahogany neck, Brazilian Rosewood fretboard, Brazilian Rosewood knobs and P90-style pickups. The body is chambered alder and the neck profile is similar to Rob's favorite neck shape - early 50's Telecasters.

This fine instrument is in excellent condition and comes with its original hardshell case.   The techs in our shop have set it up to play perfectly.  Any Rob Allen build is something special, but considering what this is, it's even more special.  You won't find another out there, that's for sure.
