Deimel Guitarworks has been handcrafting boutique guitars in Germany since 1998. For those that know, their high build standards and quality workmanship showcase the love and passion they put into every instrument. For those that don't know, now is the time to find out. We sure did! While we've seen a ton of guitars come into Truetone, we haven't seen a Deimel before this, and we couldn't be more impressed.
The Doublestar BoltTone boasts an exceptional blend of features and details that encapsulate the essence and sensation of two legendary guitar models. As Deimel states, "Design + innovation, quality + playability are the principles of our craft", and this is exemplified quite well with this one.
The guitar boasts a double cutaway body shape and wrap around bridge, reminiscent of the classic LP Special design. Finer finer details, such as the one-piece Swamp Ash body that is both lightweight and resonant, results in a very open and vocal tone. This is paired with a bolt-on, highly figured Maple neck with a 25.5" scale length, 9.5"-12" compound radius, and Macassar Ebony fretboard, providing an easy and accurate low end response. Fit and finish are flawless, and of course the guitar plays perfectly, especially after being setup by the techs in our shop.
Equipped with a TV Jones PowerTron neck pickup, Seymour Duncan Antiquity Dogear P90 bridge pickup, and premium components, the Deimel Doublestar BoltTone offers a diverse range of clean and distorted sounds. It's an ideal choice for those seeking a top-notch, contemporary instrument with a strong nod to classic vintage aesthetics.
The guitar is in excellent condition and comes with the original super high quality hardshell case, and the Certificate of Authenticity. This is a rare find here, and likely to go fast!
