Pre Owned G&L Tribute Series Placentia Legacy Silverburst

We have an incredible that honors the legacy of the great Leo Fender. This G&L Placentia Series Legacy! This striking Silverburst guitar bears the instantly familiar body shape that Leo innovated with features that are everything you want from this classic Leo Fender design, as he created G&L after he left Fender and is the last company founded and produced his innovative designs.

This instrument is from the personal collection of the late Brad Pie who played guitar in the 1990’s with the great Johnny Otis.  Along with Johnny’s sons - Shuggie Otis (Guitar) and Nicky Otis (Drums) - Brad contributed guitar to the 1992 Grammy-Nominated “Spirits of the Black Territory Bands” by the Johnny Otis & His Orchestra group.  Many of the instruments from Brad’s collection are uniquely modified and come with various customized accessories.

The guitar has been upgraded with custom knobs and a bullet switch tip, as well as strap locks.  It's a sweet look for sure!

The Placentia Series Legacy was an exclusive model that is built with a contoured poplar body guitar with dual cutaways. The Legacy comes with a trio vintage-spec CLF-100 Alnico V pickups that give you the iconic chime, quack, and sparkle these pickups are known for. You get a hard-rock bolt-on maple neck with a medium "C" profile with 22-frets with a familiar 25-1/2" scale. There is an expressive dual fulcrum tremolo system. This Legacy has 18:1 ratio, sealed-back tuners to keep you in tune comfortably and accurately. 

This guitar is in excellent condition and has been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop.  It's a great price and sure to go fast!
