John Mayer has been one of the most prominent musician, singer-songwriter, and incredible guitar player. It's no surprise that Martin has collaborated with him to create this incredible acoustic electric guitar. This is an OM model with his exacting specifications making it a wholly unique addition to the legendary Martin lineup of guitars. This standout signature comes with premium features that will delight any acoustic guitar player.
This model retains many features of the original OM-28JM Limited Edition but is designed to be more accessible and affordable, following the example set by the well-known Martin 000-28EC Eric Clapton model. This elegant Orchestra Model offers adaptability suited to a wide range of contemporary musical styles. The body is composed of an Engelmann Spruce top paired with East Indian Rosewood back and sides for the best tone wood combination of snappy power from the top with the dynamic warmth from its back and sides providing amazing resonance and tones that are full, rich, and balanced. Thanks in part to its scalloped X-bracing pattern. You get a low profile mahogany neck that is quickly comfortable in the hands with an 1 11/16" nut width as well.
This guitar was made for any playing situation and comes with a Fishman Gold Plus Natural I pickup. This pickup provides endless possiblities to plug in and play anywhere. This guitar is perfect for any playing style and situation. Experience an amazing acoustic electric guitar.
