Used Vintage 1974 Yamaha SA-50 Pearl Sunflower Electric Guitar with OHSC

Here's something you don't see every day - straight out 1974 Japan, 51 years later, we have this incredible Yamaha SA-50. It's in an ultra cool finish called Pearl Sunflower, and it's a stunner. We've never seen one in this color, and haven't come across an SA-50 as nice as this one.
Introduced in 1968 as Yamaha's first hollow body electric guitar, the SA-50 garnered a lot of attention right off the bat. By the time this one was made, the model represented the pinnacle of Japanese semi-hollow craftsmanship from the era. This 1974 model exhibits a silhouette reminiscent of the ES-335, yet possesses distinctive characteristics that establish its unique identity. The instrument features factory-original humbuckers delivering authentic vintage tonality, complemented by a meticulously bound rosewood fretboard adorned with elegant split abalone parallelogram inlays. Its innovative F-hole baffles effectively suppress the feedback issues typically associated with hollow-body instruments, providing exceptional performance stability while maintaining tonal richness.
The guitar is suprisingly lightweight at just 7.3 lbs, and very easy to play - the neck is super comfortable. The techs in our shop have set it up to play perfectly. This SA-50 is in great shape, especially considering its age - there wear and marks on the body, as to be expected, but overall, it's really clean. The original hardshell case is included.
This is definitely a rare find in Pearl Sunflower, and we have a feeling that it will go quickly!
