Fender Limited Edition '65 Deluxe Reverb Two-Tone Vanilla Cocoa with Celestion G12-65 Guitar Amp Combo

The 22-watt '65 Deluxe Reverb amp is for rock, country or blues players who want a moderately powered amp they can crank up at the gig or in the studio. The full, snappy guitar tones heard on many famous recordings from Memphis to Abbey Road were made using the Deluxe amp.   Here we have a limited edition version done in super cool two-tone styling of Vanilla/Cocoa.  While you may know the sound, you probably haven't seen one that looks like this.

This Fender Special Run isn't just about looks though - it's also about sound.  You get an upgrade there too, with a 12" Celestion Heritage G12-65 speaker. It's a distinctive choice for this classic Fender platform, giving the amplifier a strong, expressive voice that complements its 22-watt output beautifully.  Originally created in the late 70s using more modern materials and techniques for a higher power handling. the G12-65 is widely regarded as one of the best guitar speakers ever produced for use in a 4x12 cabinet - but it also works wonderfully for a single 1x12 combo amp like a Deluxe Reverb.  With its fast attack and tightly controlled low end the G12-65 had become a firm favourite with hard rock players by the early 80s. The precisely tuned mid-range and crisp defined top-end contribute to an aggressive crunch sound that punches through the mix while the mid-range warmth and detail give weight and depth to single notes.  It works for a variety styles, and brings a bit of an extra push to this classic amp.

The amp includes dual 6V6 Groove Tubes® output tubes, one 5AR4 rectifier tube, four 12AX7 preamp tubes, two 12AT7 tubes, one 12" Celestion® CG12-65 speaker, dual channels (normal and vibrato), tube-driven Fender® reverb, tube vibrato, and two-button footswitch for reverb and vibrato on-off.

Unique features: Two-Tone Vanilla/Cocoa covering and Brown and Gold grill cloth, Celestion® G12-65 Speaker
