Pre Owned 2012 Fender American Standard Precision Bass 3-Tone Sunburst With OHSC
The sound heard around the world - that's the Fender Precision Bass. Perhaps no other single instrument has had as big of an impact on music, or at least none bigger. When Leo Fender developed the Precision bass, no one knew what it would mean to the world. In the decades since, it's had many iterations, and to this day it's the go to instrument of choice in studios, on stages, and at home.
For 2012, the American Standard Precision received a makeover. Fender Custom Shop ‘60s pickup, a modernized C neck profile, a thinner undercoat, a newly designed high-mass vintage bridge, lighter tuners and Posiflex graphite neck support rods all made the model even more desirable. That's what we here: a classic American Standard Precision bass built in 2012.
Other than these changes, it's would expect: 20 frets, 9.5-inch radius C-shape neck with a 1 5/8-ich nut. It still looks and sounds like a Precision bass, too. This one here is in the most classic of colors, 3-Tone Sunburst.
This bass was originally sold here at Truetone, kept by a single owner, and now, more than a decade later, it's made its way back here. Fortunately the previous owner kept it in great shape - it's clean without any extensive player wear, just a small ding on the neck and some normal finish scratches. The techs in our shop have set it up to play perfectly. The original case is included.
If you want an American-made P bass that won't break the bank, this one takes the cake.
