Pre Owned 2008 Fender American Nashville B-Bender Telecaster 3-Color Sunburst With OHSC

Inspired by the custom Teles favored by leading Nashville musicians, especially Clarence White, Fender created this Fender Nashville B-Bender Telecaster. This guitar delivers authentic country-style bends and steel guitar glissandos all with ease thanks to the innovative B-bender and even provides a third pickup. 

Made in America, the Nashville B-Bender Tele is a unique twist on a classic.  Fender produced this model in spurts for about 20 years, with this version being from the first year of the last run (2008 - 2015).  

This guitar comes with a familiar alder body with a nice gloss Sunburst finish. The maple neck comes with a comfy modern "C" profile with a satin finish, 22 medium jumbo frets, a 9.5" radius and black dot markers.   It's super comfortable to play, and easy to bend notes without fretting out.

This versatile Tele comes with a set of American Standard Tele pickups in the bridge and neck positions and incorporates a Texas Special Strat pickup in the middle position. You have a wide range of tones available and easy to access with its five-way Strat-o-Tele switching.

Of course, this guitar is all about the B-Bender.  With this innovative string bending mechanism you get seamless execution of pedal steel-style licks.  Originally invented in 1967 by Gene Parsons and Clarence White, it was licenced to Fender but never put into production.  In fact, Fender didn't actually make a guitar with a B-Bender until the late 1980's, when the Custom Shop did a run of Clarence White Telecasters.  It was some years after that the company put a redesigned version (for easier installation) on an American prodution model.  

This device raises the pitch of the B string by one whole step.  It's activated by a one-inch downward pull on the guitar neck, allowing the player to emulate pedal steel sounds and play complex country bends.  There's only one way to really get this sort of thing going, and that's by having a B-Bender Tele!

This model comes with Micro-Tilt neck adjustment, and a six-saddle string-through-body bridge for enhanced tuning stability and die-cast tuners.

Setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop, this unique Tele is in excellent condition and comes with the original hardshell case.  The previous owner took great care of it, and now it's ready for it's next home!
