If you want a guitar that brings you the wonderous tones of the '50s Fender Teles with some modernization added, then this guitar is perfect for you.
The Fender Vintera '50s Telecaster Modified brings you the everything that has made the Fender Teles of the '50s legendary as well as some cool mods never seen before. Of course you're getting a single-cut alder slab body with a tasty and rarer Daphne Blue gloss finish. You will enjoy the feel of its maple neck with a thick soft "V" shape profile that gives you that smooth vintage feel. But with its own mod of a 9.5" radius and 21 medium jumbo frets.
This Fender Vintera '50s Modified Tele comes with a pair of Custom Shop pickups. You get a vintage-style bridge pickup and a fat-sounding Twisted Tele neck pickup. You can easily dial in twangy, articulate, crisp, and cutting tones with this guitar. It comes with vintage-style Tele bridge with three brass saddles which emphasizes its characteristic twang. Enjoy the mod of a 4-way switching with the S-1 switch to add more tones to your palette. You can run the pickups in series to pump up the Tele's sound to be thicker like a humbucking pickup and the S-1 switch places the pickups out of phase.
This versatile instrument is in excellent condition and comes with a gig bag. It was originally a new guitar here at Truetone, sold to a great customer of ours, and now has made it's way back. The techs in our shop have it set up to play perfectly, and it's a winner!
