We have a special SJ-200 from the legendary Gibson luthier Ren Ferguson. This is something you don't see around very often. Here's this Gibson Montana Gold SJ-200 in Natural from 2001, a great find!
This is Gibson SJ-200 that has exceptional appointments that make it quite distinct from its standard counterparts. You get a guitar that features a premium matched Sitka Spruce top paired with exquisite maple back and flamed maple sides that is expertly double-bound and detailed stripe in the back. The flamed maple pin stripe neck is set to the body perfectly and has a comfortable neck profile. The bound rosewood fingerboard comes with block pearloid inlays. This really is a stunning looking guitar.
The tone of this Super Jumbo incredible! It's full, rich, and focused. You have fantastic bass response with excellent midrange and of course there is a sparkle in the top end. It's somewhat suprisingly well-balanced, and could be one of the better sounding SJ-200's that we've had here.
You get the stylish and structurally powerful mustache bridge with inlay that provides tuning stability, sustain, and tone. You will love the bounded headstock with "Montana Gold" inlay and Gibson logo. Stay in tune with gold vintage-style Grover tuners. There is a specially-designed etched Montana Gold pickguard.
There really is nothing like an Gibson SJ-200. It is a canon of a guitar, and this particular one is a rarer special one. Don't miss out, it's incredible condition with just a few small nicks and honest player wear. The original hardshell case is included. Setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop, this guitar is ready for it's next home.
