The SG Special embodies rock heritage, bringing back the iconic design that defined its influence across styles and eras. This early ’60s-style SG Special delivers the distinctive tone heard on many legendary rock tracks. 

Enjoy the iconic deep double-cut lightweight mahogany body that is resonant with warm tones. It features a SlimTaper mahogany neck paired with a bound rosewood fingerboard, offering speed and ease. It features a rosewood fingerboard with a 12" radius, and 22 medium jumbo frets.

Equipped with two humbuckers it produces thick, rich tones when overdriven and a clear, warm sound clean. Easily dial-in your sounds with individual volume and tone controls for each pickup and a 3-way toggle switch. These are hand-wired controls with Orange Drop® capacitors. This Gibson SG Special comes with a tune-o-matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece. and you'll stay in tune with vintage deluxe tuners with the classic buttons. 

This guitar was meant to rock for you, it's in good condition and comes with the original gig bag.  There's some honest player wear and aging on the hardware but nothing major.  It's been setup by the in our shop to play perfectly and is ready to go!
