The Fano Alt de Facto JM6 is a vintage-inspired electric guitar that combines the best features of classic models with modern craftsmanship and custom pickups. Each JM6 is hand-built by one builder in Scottsdale, AZ, using premium tone woods and aged hardware.   This one was spec'ed out together by the head of Truetone and the head of Fano, collaborating to create some guitars that hadn't been done before.  It's a one of a kind instrument and the only one out there right now. 

Light and quick, this curvy beauty is made to respond to the touch. Get as rough or smooth as you like, it's built for comfort as well as speed. The JM6  incorporates a 25.5" scale length, 9.5" radius, and an early-60’s C Shape neck that feels comfortable and familiar in your hands. 

A unique feature of this guitar is the aesthetic: we chose to do this one in Olive Green with a Silver competition stripe.  We knew it would be cool when we ordered it but were blown away when it landed.  It's a truly unique guitar, they only one like it.

We went with Fano P90 pickups, which are some of the most versatile single coil pickups made.  They are designed to sound like the original vintage pickups, but with materials that will last the test of time.  The pickups have a warm, full tone with the clarity and articulation, and you get a balanced output between positions and an expressive dynamic range.

We chose the Light Distress package.  The wear is minimal, is realistic, in the right places, and gives the guitar a great vintage look and feel.  Fano absolutely nailed this one, as they always do.  

Other features include a TonePros bridge, Gotoh SD91 tuners, and a bone nut.  This JM6 is outfitted with a single ply black pickguard and nickle pickup covers to match the rest fo the hardware.  Also, the guitar comes with a nice Fano gig bag, so you're ready to hit the road with this one.
