Used And Vintage Electric Guitars

First introduced in 1952, the Fender Telecaster remains the world's first solid-body electric guitar to achieve commercial success and continues to be in production to this day. In 1982, Fender released a reissue version as a 30th anniversary model, with subsequent versions being made in the U.S. since then.To this day, it's one of Fender's top selling models.

In 1998, Fender introduced the "American Vintage Reissue" line, later known as AVRI. These guitars featured a thicker neck with a modest U profile, improved 12th fret markers, and more accurate Alnico 3 pickups and a Barrel switch tip. This was also the first reissue models to use a Flash Coat Lacquer similar to the Thin Skin models. For all of these reasons, this era of the '52 Tele reissue has remained in high demand.

Here we have one that came in recently, in very good condition, preserved well over the last quarter century.  Hard to believe it's been that long since 1999, right?!  It's ready to go for the next quarter century.  There are some chips on the guitar with a ding on the bottom of the body, and normal player wear, but nothing excessive.  The guitar has been set up to play perfectly by the techs in our shop.  The neck is super comfortable, and the guitar will be easy to keep strapped on all night, as it's very light - only 7.1 lbs.  Of course, it sounds amazing, like the classic Telecaster it's based on.

A high quality Fender hardshell case is included (black, not tweed, so we don't have it listed as the original case).  For anyone that wants an iconic guitar that will last, this is it.
