This Telecaster Custom comes with an era-specific neck profile, with a sound tuned to the tone of the era and of course the desirable aesthetics of those fine instruments.
The neck is a “Thin C”-shaped neck has a 7.25”-radius fingerboard with 21 vintage-style frets with a gloss finish for a familiar feel. The Telecaster Customs are prized for their pickup combination, and this one features a dual upgrade:
Bridge position: Lollar Special T-125 single-coil - Known for its punch and power, this pickup boasts a well-defined midrange, subtle compression, and a polished high end. The versatile Special T pickup caters to a range of playing styles, making it ideal for those seeking a darker, slightly hotter tone without sacrificing the iconic Fullerton-era Fender sound.
Neck position: Lollar Regal 225 humbucker - Giving you the tonal range of everything from twangy to thick and punchy, the Regal captures the original tone and wide frequency range of the ’72 Tele Deluxe pickups — but with noted improvements to the volume and tonal balance. It has has the same footprint as the original wide range pickups
