This bass will give you the best of  both with its acoustic design and its active Shadow pickup. The El Capitan features a jumbo body composed of a laminate spruce top and laminate mahogany sides. The body itself has a deep single cutaway with plenty of access to the rosewood fingerboard. It has a solid rosewood bridge with tulip-style tuners. This 4-string bass has good punch and bit of brightness as an acoustic bass strung up with phosphor bronze strings, and with the Shadow pickup you get an active EQ, so you can sculpt it to your desired settings.

This bass is in good condition has been setup by the techs in our shop.  As an added bonus, it comes with a hardshell case.   It's a great overall deal, that's for sure.
