The Epiphone Sorrento (1960-69) was a thinline electric acoustic guitar produced by Gibson, manufactured at their Kalamazoo factory in the 1960s. It was essentially comparable to the Gibson ES-125TC and ES-125 TDC models, as many Gibson instruments had an Epiphone counterpart. The Sorrento was also stylistically similar to the Epiphone Windsor, which debuted in 1959, but lacked the Windsor's gold-plated hardware.  During its time, the Sorrento only had moderate sales, especially compared to the ES-125TC and TDC models.

This Epiphone Sorrento features a the same hollow laminated maple construction that of a vintage one and delivers the characteristic vintage chime and tonal versatility and is perfect for  jazz, blues, and rockabilly and more. Its SlimTaper mahogany neck and 24.75" scale provide a comfortable feel.

A pair of dual Gibson USA mini-humbucker pickups bring bright, articulate tones with a pronounced midrange. It's incredible easy to find your favorite tones with individual volume and tone controls for each pickup and a 3-way selector. The Tune-o-matic floating bridge and period-correct trapeze tailpiece ensure authentic vintage tone, sustain and reliable intonation.
