The Fender Princeton Reverb is one of the most revered amps of all time, used on countless records - everyone has heard one at some point. And for players that are in the know, the Princeton is somewhat of a secret weapon. What originally was released as a student model, the addition of a tube-drive reverb circuit turned it one of the most widely used recording amps of all time.
A single channel, 12 wats and a 10" speaker create a simple, small and toneful amp. This is the 80's version with a pull pot for the volume control, for the purpose of adding a boost - this is a popular feature that a lot of players fell in love with. Of course, the classic Fender reverb sounds amazing on this one.
The amp was just serviced by local L.A. legendary amp guru Greg Leon and has been tested to perfect working order. New preamp types were put in (JJ 12AX7's). He found that it had replaced capacitors, but otherwise it's all original, including the speaker. It comes with the original footswitch as well.
Little did we know that one an 80's Princeton would be seen as such a cool amp, but like strangers in the night, it turned out so right, and now this one can be yours to love!
