Used Fender Artist Series J Mascis Tele Bottle Rocket Blue Flake With Gig Bag

J Mascis, a pioneer of alternative rock, is renowned for pushing Fender guitars through stacks of amplifiers to produce thick, distorted riffs, fiery solos, and memorable hooks that have shaped both his work with Dinosaur Jr. and his solo projects.
The J Mascis Tele was released a few years ago and immediately garnered a lot of attention, partly for the primo specs but also the dazzling finish. Here we have a special deal: never previously owned, only utilized for in-store demos, it is in excellent condition.
The J Mascis Telecaster faithfully replicates his favored instrument, a vintage 1958 top-loader Tele, used extensively on his lead recordings. You get an alder Tele body with a striking Blue Sparkle finish and a mirrored chrome pickguard. The bolt-on maple neck comes with a custom J Mascis "C" shape neck with Road Worn finish with Jumbo frets. Another unique feature is that is has a top-loader bridge.
This J Mascis Tele comes with a set of custom J Mascis Telecaster pickups that are perfectly tuned for clean and excel with distorted and fuzz tones. You get the classic ash tray bridge with three vintage saddles.
This is a great guitar at a great price. The original gig bag is included. The techs in our shop have set it up to play perfectly and it's ready to go!
