Perinetti Guitars SC-1 Standard Carved Top Natural Orange Translucent with Soft Case
Perinetti Guitars is a Chilean brand of boutique instruments. They build electric guitars and basses for customers all over the world from their workshop in Quillota, Chile. Founded in 2013 by Martín Frías Perinetti (head luthier and designer), the company specializes in high end instruments built with top notch craftmanship and attention to detail.
We just came on board as their first North American dealer, and are proud to introduce these instruments. We carry a wide array of brands at Truetone, and have a ton of amazing guitars here - it takes something special to really grab our attention the way Perinetti did when the first samples came through the door. We fell in love, and think you will too.
Here we have the SC-1, classic-inspired with a modern twist. While it will seem familiar at first, it is its own creation, a riff machine that will impress even the more exigent players.
Featuring a Honduran Mahogany body with Flame Maple carved top and a Honduran Mahogany neck with Pau Ferro Fretboard, this guitar resonates nicely. Even unplugged, you can hear it in these tonewoods. This is a set neck guitar with a 24.625" scale and is super comfortable to play, even as you get to higher register, thanks to the contoured neck joint for improved upper frets access. The medium "C" shaped neck allows a comfortable and satisfying playing experience.
The SC-1 has a beautiful nitrocellulose lacquer finish that shows the wood grain nicely. It's a uniqe Maple top with some really interesting figuring. Officially the color is Orange Translucent but this guitar isn't very orange - it's more like a light stain that creates a nice vintage vibe.
Explore the full range and power of the amazing DiMarzio pickups with the Vintage P90 (Neck) and Super Distortion (Bridge). The P90 is a recreation of the late 50's Gibson single-coil, with all calibrated dual Alnico 6 sandcast magnets, made on a vintage winding machine. The result is a pickup that brings midrange grit to a warm bottom end and silky highs. It's perfect for both full chords and single note playing. In the bridge position, you get the humbucker that started the replacement pickup industry in the early 70's and has been heard on countless recordings since then. The Super Distortion was specifically designed to kick a tube amp into total overdrive, and is still the standard by which all other high-output pickups are measured. The balance of tones is classic — thick, boosted mids, big lows and fat highs.
You also get top notch parts with CTS Pots & Switchcraft electronics. Everything on this guitar is built to exacting standards. It's high quality all around.
