Pre Owned 1965-66 Epiphone Olympic Double Cut Sunburst With OSSC

Get gold medal tones from this vintage Epiphone Olympic in Sunburst from 1965-66! This is a classic double-cut solid body from Epiphone's illustrious past. Here's an all-original one that is downright awesome. It's a bit of a rare bird because it's the dual pickup version with a tremolo. You don't see many of these around especially in this shape.
The Epiphone Olympic offers a lightweight resonant solid one-piece mahogany body. The body features the distinctive "batwing" headstock and a 24.75-inch scale length. The Sunburst finish is a unique color as well with a bit more reddish hue. It comes with a set mahogany neck with a smooth Brazilian rosewood fingerboard. The neck has a slim profile which feels comfortable in the hands. This student-model guitar shares design elements with the Gibson Melody Maker of its era.
Equipped with two single-coil pickups you get a wealth of tones. It's super easy to dial-in with individual volume and tone controls for each pickup. These control knobs definitely have the '60s vibes locked in, especially with its vintage single-ply white pickguard. Stay in tune with its original Kluson tuners. You get a compensated bridge with an expressive Maestro vibrato tailpiece. It balances vintage tone with playability, making it a compelling instrument for collectors and players seeking classic mid-60s craftsmanship.
